Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
The psychodynamic framework encourages the exploration of personal history and the effect of important relationships on existing ways of perceiving and experiencing yourself and others in your life. Unresolved feelings stemming from present and or earlier abusive relationships typically continue to influence our experience in profoundly negative ways. Psychodynamic therapy seeks to expose connections between prior and present experience and in doing so provides an understanding for future change.
